Hi, I’m Yui Miles — Thai Culinary Expert, Cookbook Author, and Cookery Teacher based in the UK.
Born into a Thai-Chinese family where food was at the heart of everyday life, my passion for cooking began at a young age, learning traditional recipes passed down through generations. From preparing food for monks at my local temple to cooking alongside my mother and aunt — who trained in the Thai Royal kitchen — food has always been my greatest joy.
Today, I share authentic Thai flavours through cookery classes, private dining, brand collaborations, food festivals, and international events.
I was proud to be a Quarter-Finalist on BBC MasterChef UK 2019, winner of the ICG Keen Home Cooks Competition 2020, and have worked with leading organisations including the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Royal Thai Embassy London, and major food brands.
My mission is simple — to make authentic Thai cooking approachable, exciting, and achievable for everyone.
